Mountain lion kills pricey on entrance porch, drags away animal

HILLSBOROUGH (KRON) —  Hillsborough resident Peter Rauenbuehler was awoken by a mountain lion in his entrance yard on Wednesday morning.

At round four a.m., Peter and his spouse woke to the sound of their three canine barking.

Considering it was a deer or coyote, they took a peek outdoors their door and found it was a mountain lion, lower than 10 ft from their entrance door, Rauenbuehler stated.

The mountain lion proceeded to tug the deer carcass over their entrance fence, the video exhibits. The deer carcass was found later that morning a couple of homes down.

The California Division of Fish and Wildlife was referred to as and eliminated the deer carcass.

Hillsborough police additionally responded and took a report.

Though they reside subsequent to an enormous open area, that is the primary time they’ve ever seen a mountain lion of their neighborhood, Rauenbuehler stated.

The couple lives off of Tartan Path Street in Hillsborough.
