'The station is shaking:' Corpus Christi information studio hit by Hurricane Harvey

One information workforce was reporting about Hurricane Harvey when the storm itself gave a visible demonstration of its severity.

KIII, the ABC affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas, was masking Harvey’s landfall when the staff on the anchor desk realized that the whole constructing was shaking from the drive of the storm.

They are often heard saying “We’re beginning to rock ‘n’ roll right here” and “The studio is shaking. You’ll be able to hear it getting worse,” earlier than the cameras zoom out to point out what the information staff was seeing.

Hurricane Harvey made landfall Friday night time about 30 miles northeast of Corpus Christi as a Class four storm.
