Inside Bair Island Restoration Volunteer Occasion

Finally, San Francisco Bay Hen Observatory’s Habitats Program is requesting up to 40 volunteers to assist plant greater than 30 native species to help Bair Island’s ecosystem.

SFBBO works with U.S. Fish and Wildlife’s Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and Peninsula Open Area Trust to assist restore the tidal marsh ecosystems at Internal Bair Island. Volunteers can be supported and guided by SFBBO employees, so no experience is required.
