California Assemblyman Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno), who was arrested Monday on suspicion of misdemeanor willful cruelty to a toddler, stated he was taken into custody by police after he spanked his 7-yr-previous daughter.

“Like most mother and father know, youngsters at occasions can act out. We had an incident on Sunday night time of that. I did self-discipline my daughter and I spanked her on her backside,” Arambula stated Wednesday, including that he spanked the kid together with his hand.
