SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) —

The CHP continues to be in search of a person needed for throwing rocks at automobiles on Interstate 680 in San Jose.

Dash cam video from over the weekend exhibits the terrifying moments when two rocks crashed down on an SUV with a lady and her mother inside.

“We’re like traumatized and we didn’t know what happened to us,” stated the driving force Li Deng.

Li didn’t know exactly what occurred until she went house and noticed the sprint cam video.

Deng says she saw, “Only a white guy in a white shirt throwing the 2 rocks and that is how we get hit.”

The CHP investigated and didn’t discover a suspect.

On Thursday, Caltrans was out there cleansing out debris from a homeless encampment in the area. Rocks might be seen in the middle divide.

Since Deng posted the video on social media, the CHP says they’ve acquired three calls of people reporting that they had comparable incidents over the previous week or so of rocks being thrown at their automobiles in the identical space on Interstate 680.

“What we’d like is for individuals to call us immediately when this happens. Even when you’re unsure that is an incident of someone throwing something,” stated CHP officer Ross Lee.
