Five Springfield cops have been charged with assault in connection with a 2015 altercation at a bar, authorities stated.
Legal complaints have been issued Wednesday towards Daniel Billingsley, 30, of Springfield; Anthony Cicero, 29, of Hampden; Christian Cicero, 28, of Longmeadow; Igor Basovskiy, 33, of Springfield; and Jameson Williams, 33, of East Longmeadow, in response to state Lawyer Basic Maura Healey and FBI Boston Division Particular Agent in Cost Joseph R. Bonavolonta.
Each officer pleaded not responsible Wednesday in Springfield District Courtroom to 4 counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of assault and battery, and one rely of conspiracy and assault and battery leading to critical bodily damage.
All five have been launched on the circumstances that they avoid the victims and switch over any private weapons to the Massachusetts State Police. They are due again in courtroom on March 15.
