Lebanon’s state-run Nationwide News Company says the country’s overseas minister has requested Beirut’s consultant at the U.N. Security Council to file a grievance over Israel’s building of a wall along their shared border.
The company quoted on Friday Overseas Minister Gebran Bassil as calling the Israeli move a violation of a U.N. Safety Council decision that ended the 2006 struggle between Israel and the militant Hezbollah group.
The wall is being constructed on the sting of the Lebanese border village of Kfar Kela.
