Let ICE do its job — enforcing the law

Lawbreakers should find no protected harbor in courtrooms regardless of the activist, progressive sensitivities of judges. Dozens of retired state and federal judges this week referred to as U.S. immigration officers to stop the follow of creating arrests at courthouses of people suspected of being within the country illegally.

Judges from 23 states signed a letter stating that immigrants must be free to visit halls of justice with out fearing that ICE will converge upon them.

Fortunately, U.S. Lawyer Andrew E. Lelling stood behind ICE officials who say they won’t cease making courthouse arrests, regardless of the letter. “The ICE agents who’re implementing immigration laws? They’re doing just that. They’re implementing a federal regulation. And so, for those who don’t like that federal regulation, change the regulation,” Lelling stated Wednesday.

The regulation is the regulation and ICE must be allowed to do its job. Empty rhetoric about unlawful immigrants’ fears preserving them “in the shadows” is progressive propaganda from the identical individuals who want blanket amnesty and no border safety.

U.S. Lawyer Andrew E. Lelling is true to help ICE and finally shield the residents of the USA and activist judges who look to impede regulation enforcement are a disgrace to the bench.
