BRANFORD, Conn. — Two rings lost within the snow at a Connecticut highway rest stop almost month ago have been discovered and returned because of the sharp eyes of a state trooper.
Kim Reggiannini tells WFSB-TV she and her husband, Peter, have been driving on Interstate 95 on a snowy night time Feb. 17 once they stopped at the Branford relaxation cease.
Kim took off her wedding ceremony and engagement rings and put them in her lap whereas she applied lotion to her arms. They apparently fell off her lap and the Boston couple didn’t understand they have been gone till 90 minutes later.
State police Sgt. Robert Derry combed by way of surveillance video and saw someone decide them up. He traced that individual’s license plate, they usually turned them over.
The Reggianninis picked up the rings on Wednesday.
