Gov. Gavin Newsom’s announcement that he intends to scale back California’s $seventy seven-billion bullet practice challenge surprised many officers near the venture whereas also raising many questions about what it truly means.
“It’s surprising,” stated a senior government at a serious engineering firm in California who has labored on the bullet practice challenge and asked not to be recognized. “I didn’t assume he was that daring.”
Newsom stated Wednesday that whereas the state has the capacity to complete the primary leg within the Central Valley, extending the rail line to Southern California and the Bay Space would “value too much and, respectfully, take too long.”
