Boston Herald All-Scholastic Sebastian Keane of North Andover was named the 2018-19 Gatorade Massachusetts Baseball Participant of the Yr. Keane is the primary Gatorade Massachusetts Baseball Player of the Yr to be chosen from North Andover High Faculty.
The 6-foot-three, one hundred sixty five-pound senior proper-handed pitcher and second baseman has led the Scarlet Knights to an 12-three report. Heading into final week, Keane owned a 6-0 report on the mound with a 0.88 earned run average, putting out 62 and issuing simply seven walks in 32 innings pitched by means of 13 games. A member of the Swedish National Staff, Keane owned a batting average of .300 with 5 doubles and eleven runs scored.
Keane has volunteered regionally with a baseball staff made up of special-needs college students, and he has donated his time to an elementary faculty literacy-outreach program in addition to with the Special Olympics. Keane has maintained a 3.36 GPA within the classroom. He has signed a nationwide letter of intent to play baseball at
Northeastern College this fall.
