Cardi B has pleaded not responsible to costs stemming from a brawl in a New York strip membership final August.
The Grammy-profitable rapper and two co-defendants have been arraigned Tuesday on expenses of assault, harassment, conspiracy and second-degree reckless endangerment in a 12-rely indictment, in accordance with the workplace of Appearing Queens District Lawyer John M. Ryan.
“The defendants in this case are accused of two premeditated attacks on two ladies working at a club in Queens last summer time,” Ryan stated in a press release. “The victims allegedly had glass bottles hurled at them, alcoholic drinks thrown of their faces and one lady’s head was slammed into the bar. She had been charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor rely of assault. Prosecutors then investigated further and took the case to a grand jury.
Cardi’s lawyer has stated he’s not aware of any evidence that she induced anyone harm.
In the meantime, Cardi has been telling supporters she’s not going to do time. She appeared at a pre-BET Awards present live performance in Los Angeles over the weekend, the place she assured the viewers, “I ain’t going to jail!”
If convicted, she faces as much as four years in jail.
