WEBVTT I KNOW THOSE TOTALS ARE REALLY STARTING TO ADD UP. NEVILLE: AND SOME AREAS WE ARE CLOSE TO A FOOT OF SNOW. A WET SNOW, AT THAT. IF WE WERE COLDER AND IT WAS MORE OF A POWDERY SNOW, THOSE NUMBERS WOULD BE HIGHER. REMEMBER, WE STARTED THIS WITH RAIN YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. HERE IS A LOOK AT SOME OF THOSE NUMBERS. INDEPENDENCE HAS GOTTEN eleven INCHES OF SNOW. KANSAS CITY HAS GOTTEN SEVEN. THERE STILL IS SOME SNOW OUT THERE. WE ARE SEEING MORE OF ITS RIGHT ALONG I-29 AND I-35. BETWEEN ST. JOE AND CAMERON. IT IS ACTUALLY DRIFTING VERY SLOWLY TOWARD THE SOUTH. SO HOPEFULLY THE CHIEFS CAN WRAP UP THE GAM BEFORE THE NEXT BATCH OF SNOW MOVES THEM. WE ARE BELOW FREEZING. OUR ROAD SERVICE TEMPERATURES, AND WE KEEP A CLOSE WATCH ON THIS, THOSE NUMBERS ARE ALSO NEAR FREEZING AS WELL. MANY OF THOSE SIDESTREETS, IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED YET, THEY MAY HAVE THAT SNOW DOWN THERE. THE SOME MAKE THOSE ISSUES A LITTLE WORSE. DOT CRES ARE OUT THERE WORKING ON THE ROADS. YOUR EVENING FORECAST, WE WILL CONTINUE THE SNOW SHOWERS. THAT YELLOW IMPACT TRIANGLE LETS YOU KNOW THAT SNOW WILL CAUSE MORE ISSUES ON THE ROAD. KEEP THAT IN MIND IF YOU WANT TO HEAD OUT THIS EVENING. I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING IN. FLURRIES CONTINUES UNTIL 10:00. SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE MIGHT MIX IN AS WELL. AT MIDNIGHT, WE WILL BE AROUND 29. ALSO, WE HAVE THAT WIND OUT OF THE NORTH AT ABOUT10-20 MILES PER HOUR. WE KNOW CREWS ARE OUT THEY’RE OUT THERE TRYING TO GET THE POWER BACK ON FOR EVERYONE. STILL SOME AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW. AS WE HEAD INTO EARLY SUNDAY, THE SNOW TAPERS OFF. BUT STILL A FEW FLURRIES AND POSSIBLY SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE FOR THE START OF OUR DAY TOMORROW. MAKE SURE IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHURCH TOMORROW MORNING THAT YOU WILL HAVE THOSE MORNING SERVICES. THERE MAY BE THOSE CANCELLATIONS. WE WILL GET THOSE TO YOU IF WE FIND OUT. AFTERNOON TOMORROW, WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE OF THE BRAKES AND THE CLOUDS. NINE-DAY FORECAST, LET’S LOOK AHEAD. WE WILL SEE TEMPERATURES STAYING ON THE CHILLY SIDE TOMORROW. MAYBE SOME FOG MONDAY AND TUESDAY MORNINGS. WE WILL MONITOR THAT FOR YOU. 38 ON WEDNESDAY. THEN ANOTHER SYSTEM MOVES IN NEXT WEEKEND. A SHOT OF ARCTIC AIR.
