Sources say Raiders rescind offer to rent Oakland Coliseum for 2019 season

It isn’t unimaginable, however it appears more and more unlikely the Raiders will play in Oakland next yr.

Owner Mark Davis talked about it Wednesday at the NFL house owners assembly in Dallas. In a video obtained by our media partners on the Bay Space News Group, Davis stated the Raiders group has rescinded its supply to pay Oakland $7.5 million to lease the Coliseum for the 2019 season.

“I do not need to pay for my very own lawsuit,” Davis stated Wednesday.

This week, the City of Oakland announced it is suing the Raiders and the league over the workforce’s upcoming transfer to Las Vegas.

In response to the Bay Area News Group, Davis stated all choices are on the desk in terms of where the staff will play subsequent season. He reluctantly admitted these options embrace Oakland, because the fans want it so badly, but other prospects resembling San Diego, Santa Clara or Nevada appear more possible.
