SUISUN CITY, Calif. (KGO) —
A Suisun Metropolis man’s household filed a civil lawsuit Thursday towards the San Francisco Police Division alleging extreme pressure. SFPD shot and killed 21-yr-previous Jehad Eid in March throughout an incident at a barber store. SFPD has stated Eid was armed and fired at officers.
Police body worn cameras captured the start of the March 21 shootout. San Francisco police have been responding to a barber shop on Geneva Avenue in search of a person whose family members stated he had a gun.

Police say Jehad Eid fired first. One officer was shot in the leg. Within the video, you’ll be able to see him crawling out of the barber shop. Police say Eid fired 9 rounds. Two officers returned 26 rounds. Eid was shot 18 occasions.
Thursday, lawyer Dan Siegel filed a civil lawsuit towards SFPD on behalf of Eid’s household.

Four more individuals contained in the barber shop have been struck or grazed by gunfire.

One other relative beforehand read a household statement at a town hall apologizing to police.

SFPD and the SFDA’s Office say the investigation is lively and on-going. The lawsuit doesn’t specify the quantity of damages the household is looking for.
